Precision Mold & Machining Services Inc began as a respected supplier to the automotive industry. However, we’re restless in terms of our capabilities and the clientele we serve, and before long we set our sights higher. Our machinists’ years of hard work led to an AS9100D certification that helped us add aerospace and defense clients to a diverse mold and machine portfolio that also encompassed medical equipment, consumer goods, and more. We provide alloy machining in titanium, aluminum, nickel, and a variety of other metals, across an equally diverse set of verticals.
We pride ourselves on the quality of our work. Our machining capabilities allow us to hold .0001” tolerance on any key feature, making the AS9100 Quality Management System standard an easy bar to clear. But our compliance efforts take a number of other forms as well, since our suppliers and vendors are carefully screened, too. As a result, we’re able to work with our customers’ R&D departments to meet requirements and ensure on-time delivery anywhere in the world.
ISO 9001:2015 standards are the larger umbrella under which our other compliance efforts take place. It’s your assurance of consistent quality in the finished product, in addition to statutory and regulatory compliance.
Our AS9100D QMS certification picks up where our ISO 9001:2015 certification leaves off. This certification provides a compliance regime that’s tailored to the unique needs of aviation, aerospace, and defense clients.
We understand that working with defense industries requires a higher-than-average degree of vigilance. Compliance with ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) provides an added layer of protection for defense technologies and services, as well as the information that underpins them.
Vendor And Supplier Standards
Cognizant of our customers’ demand for quality, we recognize there’s no room for error in our supply chain. Our vendors and suppliers are held to the highest standards for quality, on-time delivery, protection of proprietary information, and ethical conduct.
As you’ve already gathered, our process begins long before client onboarding, since our machinists’ experience is augmented with ongoing training and frequent equipment upgrades. Our suppliers, likewise, are held to a higher standard. By the time we’re working with a client, our CAD software, three and five-axis CNC machining, electrical discharge machining (EDM) capabilities, and a relentless work ethic combine to ensure products of the highest quality.
